Treviño Law has announced the addition of Guilherme "Gui" Vasconcelos, an internationally trained trial lawyer with a demonstrated record of securing major verdicts for injured Texans. Vasconcelos brings extensive courtroom experience, multilingual communication abilities, and a career dedicated exclusively to personal injury law to the firm. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Vasconcelos earned both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws focused on Constitutional Law. After establishing a strong litigation foundation in Brazil, he relocated to the United States in 2016, completing his LLM at the University of Texas School of Law and graduating with Pro Bono Honors for his extensive volunteer legal work.
Vasconcelos maintains licensure to practice law in both Texas and Brazil. He has been a member of the Texas Bar College since 2018, an honor reserved for attorneys who demonstrate exceptional commitment to legal education and professionalism. Before joining Treviño Law, he managed and litigated more than 500 cases at DJC Law Firm in Austin, resulting in more than $8 million in gross settlements for injury clients. He also served as Managing Attorney at Ramos James Law Firm in Austin, where he led legal teams and supervised complex litigation matters. The attorney's courtroom performance has yielded significant trial outcomes, including a $4.5 million verdict in Travis County in 2024 followed by a $1.3 million verdict in Dallas County in 2025.
Vasconcelos is an alumnus of the Trial Advocacy College of Texas (TACT) and maintains membership in both the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40. His fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese represents a significant expansion of Treviño Law's ability to serve clients across diverse communities. This multilingual background ensures more injury victims can access trial-tested legal representation without language barriers, addressing a critical need in Texas's increasingly diverse population. The addition of Vasconcelos strengthens Treviño Law's position as a firm capable of handling complex personal injury litigation while improving access to justice for non-English speaking communities throughout the state.
